Description

The USDA Healthy Bodies Project is a large scale intervention research project focused on promoting healthy eating and physical activity in preschool children, with a goal of preventing childhood obesity. We seek to hire several Penn State students and non-students to fill wage payroll part-time positions beginning in March 2019. The main responsibility of these employees will be to collect clinical and behavioral data from children in a laboratory setting. We seek candidates with excellent communication skills who are self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible and able to multi-task. Hours may vary, but candidates must be available from approximately 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at least 2 weekdays each week from March through June 2019. PA Clearances for work in childcare/educational settings will be required (these must be completed before employment starts).
