The Administrator is responsible for assisting with the training, adoption, and support of Penn State Extension’s 600+ users including faculty, staff, and educators. Responsibilities include working directly with system administrators, to translate business and specialized processes into clear, concise information to train audiences of varying levels of specialized knowledge. Training will be delivered via on-site or virtual trainings or through written documentation and correspondence to increase and retain adoption of products and connected tools and platforms. Also responsible for developing role-based training materials delivered through a variety of media including, but not limited to videos, screen-capture, PowerPoint, help articles, emails, and Chatter posts. This position is also required to deliver live training content both in-person and remote formats including but not limited to on-site events, webinars, Zoom meetings, phone calls, etc. This position will assist system administers in the overall training and adoption strategy. This position is also responsible for maintaining the adoption of Salesforce Chatter by administrating and moderating posts, topics, groups, and overall presence of value. Other responsibilities include providing user support by diagnosing and providing knowledge for record management, user management, user testing, and related tools within Salesforce, while escalating complex support cases, business process requirements, and development needs to senior project staff, using best practices set by the College, Penn State Extension, and the Salesforce system with strategic goals set by leadership units. Also includes administrative duties such as configuration, data quality, analytic, user, security and record management as well as assisting in routine data maintenance tasks such as data de-duplication and standardization using provided tools. As new initiatives arise, participate in assessing system and adoption impact of these initiatives on existing CRM and business data, processes, and systems by participating in developing plans, scheduling, testing, and requirements gathering for deployment while collaborating with stakeholders and other system administrators to enhance the user experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
