Description

The Eberly College of Science Finance Office is looking for a Financial Coordinator level 2 to join their team. Duties will include approving all graduate assistant appointments for the College of Science. Verify student registrations in LionPATH. Post salaries to Pay and Effort. Monitor the college Grant In Aid allocation, track commitments and prepare reports. Approve expenditures for Math and Dean’s Office units including endowments to ensure adherence to university and college policies and procedures. Accept and review ROCR's from departments. Monitor deposits are submitted in a timely manner. Approve all ROCR's for college, track all cash receipts and file. Request shredding pickup when needed and monitor bag usage. Reconcile monthly income and budget adjustments for endowments. Monitor assigned budgets, negotiate problem resolution, and process budget amendments and BARA's as necessary. Reconcile and monitor purchasing card transactions for the Dean’s Office. Monitor and act accordingly on the declined PCard report. Review direct bills and distribute charges as appropriate. Provide backup to the Assistant to the Financial Officer. Responsible for the Finance Office web page. Provide training to departmental staff on PCard reconciling, IBIS, ERS and ECOS policies. Organize business office meetings and prepare agendas. Maintain college accounting files. IBIS, Workday, Pay and Effort, ERS, Excel, Docfinity, eSteward and Data Warehouse experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of practices, policies and procedures; ability to manage large volume of time sensitive work; confidentiality is essential; ability to provide direction; excellent communication skills both verbal and written; demonstrated accuracy. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
