This position will serve as the administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and is responsible for identifying campaign plans that will advance business, marketing, product and brand objectives, including customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion. Includes development of single and multi-step campaigns that consider full journey of customer for inbound marketing campaigns, including email, social and other channels. Also includes discovering gaps in overall customer experience that may lead to customer attrition. This position must have a strong understanding of customer data model and audience strategies, and conduct data analysis and segmentation to identify ideal prospects and efficient nurture streams. This position will create, test, execute, manage, and analyze automated, triggered, and custom marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes planning A/B tests, and other optimization strategies to ensure continued improvement of campaigns, as well as the development of emails. This position must understand the effectiveness of campaigns by reviewing data from multiple sources, including marketing automation system, CRM, web analytics, and other sources, as well as aligning with industry benchmarks. This includes analytics of all marketing campaign activity, including emails, forms, campaigns, A/B tests, and more. Responsible for providing training and support for Marketing Communications Specialist and other marketing staff with email development responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining a high-level of expertise on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and maintaining any associated certifications. In addition, must maintain an understanding of connected systems, including Salesforce CRM, as well as keeping a pulse on marketing automation and digital marketing trends and best practices. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a high level of self-direction and personal accountability and ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, and consistently produce deliverables within agreed upon timelines. In addition, candidate must be highly organized with excellent time management skills, and the ability to shift priorities and multi-task in order to meet aggressive deadlines. This position requires strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, digital marketing, demand generation strategies, and the customer journey. In addition, position requires strong understanding of email best practices and industry standards, CAN-SPAM laws, content creation, list management and targeting, knowledge of dynamic content and campaign automation. In addition, position should have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Excel and Google Analytics.
