Description

The Office of Annual Giving is seeking an individual with strong communication and leadership skills to lead Student Philanthropy efforts at Penn State. This position assists with student organizations which promote and facilitate student giving at the University Park campus and facilitates student giving programs across the University. This position will also work collaboratively with other offices and fundraising units to promote student philanthropy programs. May also serve as liaison to a select number of fundraising units to assist them with annual fund solicitation efforts. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with MS Office, crowdfunding, giving days, and web-based technology desired. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences. This position will require some evening and weekend meetings and events based on student availability and schedules.
