Description

This position will review, analyze and process proposals associated with various Federal and State agencies, industry, foundations and other public and private funding sources. Advise faculty and college coordinators in interpreting and adhering to sponsor and University guidelines. Review and process federal grants and amendments from various federal agencies for adherence to government and University policy. Serve as back-up to the Subcontractor Coordinator by assisting with processing various Penn State sub-agreement documents. This position will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Familiarity with Strategic Information Management System (SIMS); experience with Integrated Business Information System (IBIS), completion of the ACES program and post-award management experience preferred. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs
