Description

The position will be responsible for providing support services to the multiple service areas within University Health Services. Primary duties include greeting customers, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, obtaining and verifying insurances, requesting authorizations, coordinating referrals, assisting with patient flow, and accepting payments on accounts. Typically requires a High school diploma or higher plus one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent customer service skills and good computer knowledge. Experience in a medical office preferred. This is a part-time position. Work schedule is typically 8-24 hours per week.
