Description

The candidate will be responsible for providing academic advising and educational planning programs to exploratory and transitional students enrolled in the Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) and other students seeking academic advising, assisting in the advising of transfer and provisional students, and providing referrals when necessary. The candidate will assist with New Student Orientation, assist with other professional projects and administrative tasks, and represent DUS at University programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as working knowledge of computer applications. Academic advising experience strongly preferred. Must work well as a member of a team. Submit cover letter, resume, and three references. We encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded from March 1, 2019 through August 31, 2019.
