Description

The Communications, Information, and Navigation Office of the Applied Research Laboratory, is seeking a qualified Graduate Assistant to conduct research in communications between acoustic and radio domains. This position will assist with laboratory experiments as well as computer modeling of subsurface to above surface Electro-Acoustic communications. Candidates must be enrolled at Penn State as Graduate Students working towards advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering. Successful candidates typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or above during their junior and senior years. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
