The Pennsylvania State University, Altoona College, invites applications for a tenure-line position in Accounting. An earned doctorate degree in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution is required, but ABD candidates near completion may be considered. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA) and experience in the field are desirable. The successful candidate must be able to teach a course in introductory financial and managerial accounting and several other content areas. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching and research interests in financial accounting, auditing and data analytics. In addition to demonstrating dedication to teaching, the successful candidate is also expected to conduct research leading to publications in refereed journals, advise students, provide college service, and engage in continuing professional development.
