Description

The Temporary Marketing Project Coordinator supports the Marketing and Communications Manager to successfully deliver strategic campus-wide marketing campaigns and initiatives. The Coordinator will manage project workflow between the campus stakeholders and the office of Strategic Communications and Community Engagement (SCCE) to keep projects on deadline. The Coordinator will also assist in designing, managing and updating website content to ensure website optimization and accuracy and assist in social media management. This position will develop and launch the SCCE SharePoint portal. Responsibilities include: Manage (assigns) the daily TV Monitor and Web Request tickets received from campus community; Manage website content to ensure all information is accurate, links are active and content is relevant and optimized for search engines; Develop the SCCE SharePoint portal; connect to SCCE intranet content; Develop optimal web forms to increase efficiencies; Manage event calendar revisions; Pull web analytics to support Marketing Manager reports; Develop website graphics and minor graphical elements for SCCE purposes; Manage social media analytics; develop tracking codes for social media campaigns; Research LinkedIn capabilities and provide competitive research to assist in developing Penn State Abingtonā€™s LinkedIn strategy; Manage student workers to support web updates and curate social media content. Hours: up to 35 hours per week. Anticipated to last up to 16 weeks.
