Description

A post-doctoral scholar positon is open immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Thomas Spratt, in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Penn State College of Medicine, to study DNA damage tolerance mechanisms. The position will involve cell culture experiments with synthetic nucleotides utilizing fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry, next generation sequencing and MS/proteomics to identify the role of specialized DNA polymerases. Qualified applicant will have a Ph.D. in chemical biology or related field.
