Outreach’s Penn State Professional and Community Engagement Finance Office is searching for a Financial Assistant 3. It takes extraordinary accuracy, a remarkable attention to detail, the ability to work in a face paced and team based environment. In addition, you must be able provide exceptional customer service to our variety of units. If this sounds like you, then we encourage you to apply. In this position, you will be responsible for various central administrative tasks such as; reviewing/resolving financial transactions, recording/tracking financial information, processing financial documents (IBIS) and reconciling/process travel reports (in ERS). Beyond these day-to-day activities, you will provide other basic service functions for the various units we serve and complete various administrative tasks. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should be experienced in dealing with a variety of customers, both internal and external to an organization. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse audiences. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
