Description

Respond to reports of student-related sexual or gender based harassment by conducting intake interviews with students, providing students with relevant information and resources regarding preventing, reporting, and addressing issues of sexual harassment; work with faculty, staff, and partner offices to assess and implement appropriate accommodations; prepare and present cases to the Title IX Evaluation Panel; transition cases appropriate for formal investigation to an investigator; ensure appropriate reporting for Clery, Child Abuse, Title IX; maintain a database, run reports; manage and monitor the processing of cases in the office; and conduct file audits assessing areas of need for additional training/intervention. In addition, this position will provide extensive training, oversight and consultation to the Commonwealth Campus Title IX Resource People. This position requires knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, FERPA, and other federal and state laws and guidance that impact the work of Title IX administration. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
