Applicants are invited for two non-tenure track faculty positions starting Fall 2019. We seek enthusiastic and dynamic faculty members in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in the area(s) of design, machine dynamics, system dynamics, machine design, manufacturing, and material science. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following abilities: to innovate and adopt various teaching methods in the classroom; to develop and teach labs; and to involve and guide undergraduate students in applied research and senior design projects. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline and prior teaching and research experience are strongly preferred and will be considered for the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor; exceptional candidates with a Master of Science will also be considered at the rank of Lecturer. Members of groups traditionally underrepresented in engineering faculties are encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive.
