Description

Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Kinesiology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing the new B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science Option at Penn State Harrisburg. An earned Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health and Human Performance, or related field is required. Special consideration will be given to candidates with an academic emphasis and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas of sport and exercise studies: history, philosophy, psychology, and/or sociology. Candidates must possess scholarship to warrant appointment to a tenure-track position with a preference for candidates who have a demonstrated program of research and secured grants and/or contracts.
