Description

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor position in the field of ferroelectric nanostructures synthesis and device fabrication, piezoluminescence materials, magnetoelectric nano-composites, and magnetic field energy harvesting. Candidate work includes demonstration of unique materials and nano-architectures, device design and fabrication, and characterization of the materials and devices in those research topics. Positions require a Ph.D. in a related field or discipline. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with good possibility of re-funding.
