Description

WPSU is looking for a Graduate Assistant to help develop and produce stories and social media campaigns for the web. This position would support the WPSU production and Content Strategy teams on existing and new original productions. Duties include: conduct, organize, and present research and project ideas, develop and implement social media strategy, create digital and social media content for distribution on WPSU platforms, assist with the development and analysis of reports for performance metrics, watch and re-edit existing content, connecting with selected collaborators for content distribution, and organize and create database of existing content. Desired Skills are as follows: positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving mentality, excellent organization, writing and research skills, photo, video and audio production and post-production abilities, appreciation for working with teams and diverse audiences, ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes, comfort with learning new technologies, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires a commitment of 20 hours/week starting September 2018.
