Description

Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration invites applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Marketing in its AACSB-accredited program effective Fall, 2019. Primary teaching areas include Business-to-Business Marketing, Internet Marketing, and Marketing Principles, with Marketing Analytics as a secondary area. This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (including online courses); teaching load is 3/2 the first two years then 3/3. A strong commitment to effective teaching and publication is required. Faculty are expected to maintain a high level of professional activity through scholarly research and service. Competitive candidates will have a doctorate in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited school; ABDs completing doctorate by August, 2019 will be considered. Prior teaching, research, and professional experience are desirable. Compensation is AACSB competitive. A representative from our business school will attend the 2018 AMA Summer Educator’s Conference and conduct preliminary interviews.
