Director of Football Gameday Operations

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking applicants for a Director of Football Gameday Operations to direct all aspects of Penn State Football game day. This position will report directly to the Associate Athletic Director of Facility and Event Operations with a dotted line to the Assistant Athletic Director for Event Operations. Job responsibilities include, liaison with campus and off campus support units; coordinate with broadcast coordinator partner; day to day scheduling oversight of assigned facilities; coordinate, train, and manage Penn State’s third party security provider; direct the football credentialing and parking operations; lead the gameday operations dispatch center; serve as event manager for Lacrosse and large scale stadium events; and contract development and facilitation of paperwork in conjunction with the Risk Management office. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Master's degree in Sports Administration preferred. Experience in Division 1 football event management and/or facility management is preferred. Knowledge of B1G conference and NCAA rules and specific concentration on game management is preferred. Experience in ISS, Publisher and/or Photoshop preferred.
