Description

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to work as a member of its Office of Strategic Communications on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will possess proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and a familiarity with Penn State brand style, as well as, best practices for digital and print products. Primary duties include the design and layout of the Bellisario College’s alumni magazine (two times per year), design and layout of an annual report, and a variety of smaller design projects, including brochures, digital signage, event-support materials, infographics, posters, programs, promotional products, and more. The successful candidate must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, be able to handle multiple projects of varying difficulty and size, and consistently meet deadlines. The position reports to the Director of Strategic Communications and works with all members of the communications staff, as well as, clients within the Bellisario College. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience. A digital or print portfolio is required. This position will work up to 20 hours per week.
