Description

Penn State Harrisburg invites applications for a full-time faculty position to teach fundamentals of effective speech communication, and including strategic communication work in the contemporary corporate environment, such as media relations, campaign planning, and/or multi-platform engagement. The successful applicants will teach undergraduate courses in Communication Arts and Sciences, principally in CAS 100 (Effective Speech); other courses may include Organizational Communication; Crisis Communication; Corporate, Non-Profit, and Government Public Relations; Media Relations; or Strategic Communications. A Ph.D. degree in a related field is required. This is a fixed-term non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Full-time faculty normally teach four courses per semester.
