DUTIES: Teach piano primarily to undergraduate and graduate piano majors and selected non-majors; teach piano literature courses (a 400-level survey course and a three-semester sequence for doctoral students, offered on a two-year cycle); supervise doctoral student recitals and monographs; perform as a soloist and collaborative pianist with colleagues; and participate in the academic life of the School of Music. Additional teaching opportunities of other piano area courses, if any, to be determined by the candidate’s experience, background, and interests. QUALIFICATIONS: Professional performance experience, solo and collaborative; doctorate in music; college-level teaching experience. STARTING DATE: This is a one-year, 36-week academic appointment with a start date of August 10, 2018. Full University benefits apply.
