Description

The College of Information Sciences and Technology is seeking an energetic and experienced Administrative Support Coordinator to join our Academic Services team. The role, focused on undergraduate programs support, requires an experienced, data-savvy professional to support multiple directors and coordinators, oversee and administer the College’s Teaching Assistant (TA) and Learning Assistant (LA) assignment process, and support several undergraduate academic enhancement programs of the Graduate and Undergraduate Academic Affairs (GUAA) office. GUAA responsibilities include assisting with internal reports, data tracking, events coordination, meeting scheduling, and program support for Honors Education, Study Abroad, the College’s Tutoring Program, curriculum assessment, faculty development, the Learning Assistant Program, and other programs as they arise. Support of the GUAA director, undergraduate faculty director, and four coordinators includes, but is not limited to, calendar management for scheduling various meetings and/or conference calls, preparation of meeting materials, and composing, editing and proofreading materials. Job responsibilities also include supervision, budget management, training and management of staff for the Academic Services reception desk, general office support to oversee office space and supplies, planning and promoting special events, as well as processing financial reports for senior leadership. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, and possess professional communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong commitment to customer service, ability to make independent judgments, and ability to manage, assess and assign multiple priorities with minimal direction is a must. Advanced proficiency skills are also required in the full suite of Microsoft Office products, standard computer applications and programs, email, calendaring and file management. Strong knowledge of University policies and procedures preferred. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
