The Filippelli Institute for e-Education and Outreach in the College of the Liberal Arts has an opening for an Instructional Production Specialist on our growing learning design team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and technical support for the college’s new and established online courses by supporting and collaborating with a team of Instructional Designers and faculty. Primary responsibilities will be to assist in the production, maintenance, and management of online courses; help to resolve and respond to technical and accessibility issues; update Web content; and aid in the use of course-related tools and systems. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized and efficient with managing many details and tasks and who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing is essential along with the desire to provide excellent customer service. This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Experience using a learning management system such as Canvas is a plus. Candidate must have good time management skills while working on multiple projects. Willingness to learn new and emerging technologies is required. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
