Overall job function: Perform technical simulation tasks including set-up, operations, tear-down, and maintenance of Clinical Simulation Center simulators and equipment. Specific functions: Coordinate and maintain simulation center and simulation environment for clinical training and assessments. Manages day-to-day operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of simulation, AV, and simulation-specific information systems and equipment. Manages audio/video resources including recording, editing, and archiving. Assist in maintaining Center equipment and supply inventory. Assists the manager with technical and operational systems design, policy, planning, and support. Qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with common medical terminology. Ability to troubleshoot technological problems. Excellent problem solving abilities required. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups or people. Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings required. Education and Experience: Associate's degree in technical, computer, or healthcare related areas. Two to three years’ work experience that demonstrates strong problem solving skills.
