Description

The Manufacturing Systems Division at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking to hire an undergraduate student for summer 2018. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the project Principal Investigator with developing operational requirements as well as an implementation plan of a Beta designed motor generator set stoning system used by the US Naval shipyard community. Mandatory Position Description Requirements: The successful candidate will need to be a quick-starter and desire to learn new applications and develop tools, techniques, and methodologies to support our project sponsor needs. Engineering and product design and development classroom experience are preferred. Industrial Engineering students entering their Junior or Senior year are encouraged to apply. You will work up to 40 hours per week for the summer semester. Job Requirements: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
