Outline of Duties: Execute Senior Class Gift strategy and maintain oversight of Senior Class Gift Committee with support of office staff. Assist in the management of fundraising efforts for donors and prospects at the Berks College. Assist in event planning and execution as well as other donor stewardship activities. Assist in the engagement of campus/college alumni through alumni event planning, etc. Work with supervisor for direct related activities in support of goals and objectives for Development and Alumni Relations. Assist in the identification and cultivation of donors and prospects in support of the College’s fundraising goals. Work collaboratively with the office staff to maximize fundraising success for the College. Work to support the engagement of faculty and staff in the fundraising enterprise. Other Requirements: Open to current or rising Seniors. Provide assistance in developing fundraising programs and other various activities in support of these programs for assigned area of responsibility. Assist with supervision of selected fundraising activities, processes and systems. Maintain records and files. Assist in development and production of communication tools, proposals and reports. Provide support with scheduling, proposal writing and general correspondence. Work with committees and boards to plan and implement development activities. Serve as liaison on behalf of the College. Other duties as assigned. This is a paid internship with an average schedule of 10-12 hours/week for 15 weeks in both Fall and Spring semesters.
