Description

The Eberly College of Science Academic Advising Center is seeking student assistants to work during the 2018 New Student Orientation on the University Park campus. Multiple vacancies are available and candidates should be available to work weekdays beginning the week of May 14 through the week of July 16, with additional opportunities possible later in the Summer, depending on availability. Assistants will work approximately 15 hours per week. Applicants should be at least a 2nd semester Penn State student in good academic standing. Preference will be given to those pursuing a major in the Eberly College of Science (life science-related majors preferred, but not required). Positive attitude, familiarity with first year science student schedules, experience with LionPATH scheduling tools, and the ability to work well with a team is required. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and the name and contact information for one reference. Review of applications will begin on March 26, 2018.
