Conferences and Institutes is seeking Camp Managers for this academic youth camp. Camp Managers are responsible for the 24-hour supervision and safety of minors participating in this camp, and will be one of two lead staff members responsible for emergency response, direct communication with Camp Director and Program Manager, daily camp administration, management of medication collection, storage and verification, oversight of camper health information, and full adherence to youth compliance policies and procedures. Camp Managers will supervise the other camp counselors, to include addressing performance issues, ensuring that proper supervision guidelines are followed, and guiding counselors through emergency protocols and reporting procedures as needed. Camp Managers may face situations at any time of day or night when they must act quickly and calmly using sound judgement, handle sensitive issues or information, address camper or counselor behavior issues, and immediately follow any necessary notification protocols. Camp Managers are housed in campus housing and are considered on-call for emergencies during the overnight hours. Counselor training is required.
