Description

The Communications Systems Division at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking to hire an undergraduate student to conduct Software Defined Radio (SDR) research for the development of advanced prototype communications waveforms. The successful candidate will conduct lab bench testing, radio set up, embedded programming, and waveform analysis. Experience with C++, MATLAB, RF systems, and signal processing are required. Students in their junior year studying Electrical Engineering are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week during the spring and fall semesters and up to 40 hours per week for the summer semester. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
