The office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research (ADGER), in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, is seeking an experienced individual to join our office as the lead Administrative Support Coordinator (Level 5). The successful candidate will be the main point of administrative contact, and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the ADGER office. This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research providing budget management, compliance management, and human resources support. The final candidate will manage the ADGER office to include supervision of support staff, manage processing of appointments and salary distributions for ADGER faculty and staff, serve as the liaison to the College’s Human Resources team for all HR related needs, coordinate oversight of training and monitor compliance to University policy (FERPA, Affirmative Action, Conflict of Interest, etc.), plan, arrange and coordinate appointments and travel arrangements for the Senior Associate Dean, oversee and monitor budgets, endowments, scholarships fellowships, and awards, process travel expense accounts and purchasing card expenditures, develop financial related reports, and serve as the College’s Access and Security Representative (ASR). The successful candidate will bring strong organization skills, have significant supervision and budget experience, and demonstrate proficiency in complying with policies and procedures. The qualified individual will also have excellent oral and written communication skills, will work well independently, and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Data Warehouse, IBIS, Workday, the Employee Reimbursement System (ERS), and the Financial Information Tool (FIT) preferred.
