The Department of Risk Management in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA), invites applications for a faculty position in Real Estate or Urban Economics beginning Fall 2018, subject to budgetary conditions. This is a tenured/tenure track position and applications are invited at any level (assistant, associate, or full professor). Principal duties include research, teaching, public service, and participation in other departmental duties. Qualifications: Ph.D. (granted or near completion) in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or related field and a demonstrated capacity to conduct quality scholarly research as well as high level of teaching competence. All successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program and perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, including participation in the College’s Ph.D. program.
