Description

The Department of Psychology at Penn State (http://psych.la.psu.edu/) invites applications for the position of lecturer/assistant teaching professors. The positions requires teaching undergraduate research methods courses, possibly also introductory statistics, and courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology. Candidates should be available for both on-line and classroom teaching assignments. Previous teaching experience and fit to the department`s teaching needs are critical. These are full-time positions with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic year; summer teaching is negotiable. Ph.D. is preferred and at least ABD status required. The initial contract period is one year commencing August 2018 with a good chance of continuing and multiple year renewal depending on funding.
