Outreach and Online Education is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join the administrative support team in the Office of the Vice President for Outreach/Vice Provost for Online Education. We are looking for an individual who is professional, organized, and comfortable being a member of a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, and customer service skills. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and providing executive-level administrative support, is essential in this position. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, preparing meeting materials, assisting with meeting logistics, arranging travel and processing reimbursements, and other general office tasks as needed to assist and back up the administrative support coordinators. This position will work 20-24 hours per week during core business hours between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The position requires demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and electronic calendaring. Experience with web based applications and Penn State systems (such as UCS, IBIS, FIT, and ERS) is preferred but not required.
