The WorkLion Management Office seeks a Reporting Specialist to provide ongoing support and development of the Workday reporting solution. The individual will be a strong consultative partner to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies through the Workday solution. They will serve as guide and consultant for reports-related questions from users, analysts and stakeholders. The Reporting Specialist will assist in the rapid and thorough resolution of production issues, resolve tickets and functions as the Workday expert to support business units. Additionally, they will provide support for existing custom reports in Workday, analyze, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields). This individual will work to ensure custom reports function as designed based on business requirements, document the report function and design to facilitate ongoing maintenance, and participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards. The Reporting Specialist will be responsible to understand and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards and policies of the University. The individual selected will create detailed test plans, execute, address defects, documents test statistics metrics and results. The reporting specialist will support planning and analysis for Workday version updates, execute testing, update training materials, and support communication for the testing and updates. This individual will have responsibility for business process analysis, functional design, testing, training, documentation, and implementation of reporting enhancements and upgrades. Knowledge of Workday and Workday Report Writer is preferred. This individual will be a strong partner to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction, provide support for existing custom reports in Workday, and complete reporting activities including the gathering requirements, designing, building, and testing the Workday reports. The preferred candidate will have in-depth knowledge of reports in the Workday system. Additionally, strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR, payroll, IT and other stakeholder groups are desired. The ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess business needs as well as communicate technology concepts effectively with technically proficient and non-technically proficient individuals is also preferred.
