Description

Business Consulting and Relationship Management position with emphasis on consulting with student and community entrepreneurs, existing businesses and client organizations. Particular focus on technology commercialization to understand business issues and needs, develop innovative proposals to extend Penn State expertise and address client need, and negotiate deliverables. Role provides consulting and training services to include: helping entrepreneurs start businesses and create jobs, helping existing businesses to expand and create or save jobs, assisting researchers with commercializing their technologies. Ideal candidate has expertise developing and delivering client-facing presentations and reports and small business training workshops, maintaining a high level of quality in all work assignments consistent with the standards that meet or exceed the expectations of the client, pursuing post-event contact with the client to evaluate solution effectiveness, and collecting the necessary metrics for measuring success and ROI.
