Provide administrative and professional support to the Office of External Relations and will serve as the primary staff member for the Director of Alumni Relations, Director of Strategic Communications, and Alumni Relations and Stewardship Coordinator. Routine office responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing budgets, processing office expenses and wage payroll, assisting with event logistics, scheduling meetings and conference calls, and making travel arrangements. This position will play an integral role for the office by providing administrative support for a variety of Stewardship and Alumni programs and events. The successful candidate must possess exemplary skills in MS Word and Excel with abilities to update databases and assist with data collections; be a skilled problem solver; possess excellent administrative skills; be detail-oriented; and be able to effectively multi-task. It is essential that the candidate have strong critical thinking skills and an aptitude for utilizing technology for ongoing work processes with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various levels of faculty, staff and students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, exercise independent judgement and discretion and attention to detail are required. Understanding of alumni relations and stewardship functions are beneficial along with good judgement when dealing with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality of records. Experience with IBIS, Microsoft Office products, eSteward, eBuy, ERS and 25Live is highly desired. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
