Description

The Marketing and Communications Specialist in the Office of Strategic Communications at Penn State Schuylkill, a Commonwealth campus of Penn State, is an integral member of the marketing and communications team, reporting directly to the unit’s director. Primary responsibilities include publications design, website updates, building a strong social media presence, and special projects. Must be a solid writer and editor, and detail-oriented. Familiarity with the print production process is helpful. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional years experience is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop required. This is a fixed term position funded for one year from hire date, with excellent possibility of re-funding.
