This position will act as Applied Research Laboratory's (ARL) Labor and Travel Team Financial Assistant. Responsibilities include: Support the daily processing of labor and travel report expense processing through ARLINK, IBIS, and ERS systems; maintain ARLINK personnel data for budget and labor distribution purposes; post grad student stipend and tuition distributions in Pay and Effort; resolve labor and non-labor non-post errors in ARLINK; post cost center batches in ARLINK; run daily accounting reports; and submit journal voucher adjustments. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. An Associate's degree in a related field is desired. Experience with labor, travel, related PSU policies, ERS, and IBIS is preferred. A background in travel, accounting, and/or finance is required. Good oral and written communication skills and good customer service skills are also required. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
