Description

Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center is seeking Naturalists for our Discovery and Explorer Summer Camp programs. A qualified candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for working with children; prior experience in a summer camp setting is ideal. Naturalists will be responsible designing their individual day’s environmental education based programs for a group of 12 campers, ages 4-11. You will also have opportunity to mentor 2 Leaders In Training (ages 12-17) each week. The camp week may include working Friday overnight into Saturday morning. As part of training you will receive First Aid and CPR certifications. The camp season is June through mid-August. This is a paid position, however, housing is not available.
