Description

This Instructor will teach driving lessons to students from the Therapeutic (equine) Riding program at the Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center. This instructor must have PATH or CECTH certification in Therapeutic Driving. This person will work closely with the other Instructors, the Stable Manager and report to the Program Director. This job will be staffed at 8 hours per week in two daytime sessions and one evening session. Job Duties: Maintain an active group of lessons each week while the program is active. Maintain and turn in lesson plans for each student. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to teach volunteers horsemanship skills. Assist Volunteer Coordinator and Program Director with creating and updating Volunteer Manual and Instructor Manual for driving program. Work together with other instructors, either volunteer or paid, to conduct shows and special events.
