Marketing Strategy Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies; admissions website strategy development and execution; and planning and development of materials intended for Undergraduate Admissions audiences. Duties include data driven communication strategy development for websites, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and internal and external publications. Assist with video production as needed, as well as development of strategies to maximize the use of communication tools to communicate with prospective students. Counsel applicants, parents, and school counselors regarding Penn State admissions. Conduct information sessions for prospective students and their families; and participate in and administer other admissions activities as assigned. Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe applications is required. Candidate should possess strong project management skills, writing/editing ability, excellent verbal, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects. Penn State has an excellent benefits package. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
