A campus student will be hired to assist the Teaching International program in the Spring of 2018. Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks. Mainly, the student will help the Teaching International (TI) Executive Committee with the organization and advertisement of events, assist with creation of TI-relevant information for the campus monitors, assist in the organization of the Student Conference at the end of the spring semester, and the coordination with student groups. The student will spend an average of 5 hours a week. Applicants must be a current Penn State Greater Allegheny student.Interested students are invited to upload a one-page statement describing: the reasons that motivate them to apply, and their qualifications (i.e., TI research projects; language skills; international experiences, etc.). Application deadline: The committee will start reviewing applications in January 2018. The position will remain open until a candidate is selected.
