Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greets and checks ID for all guests. Answers and directs incoming phone calls. Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the Fitness Center if assigned to those shifts. Responsible for keeping the check-in desk clean, neat, and orderly. Attend staff meetings as needed. Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, listening to inappropriate music, or any other activities that are not work-related. Creates the “First Impression” for the FCC building. Cleans fitness equipment as needed and puts away any equipment left out by guests. Other duties as assigned. Requires Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be motivated, energetic and attentive. Must be responsible and dependable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task. Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. Required Education, Certifications and Experience: CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds with or without accommodation.
