Description

The Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Penn State Behrend invites applicants for a tenure track faculty position starting fall 2018 at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking applications from candidates with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education and research scholarship. A Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field is required. Candidates should have the ability to teach computer science courses including artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, machine learning and reinforcement learning, and courses in game design, development, and game AI. Candidates should be experienced in a variety of game engines, especially Unreal and Construct. At least three years college teaching experiences in game development and other computer science courses such as artificial intelligence are required. Candidates should have developed a program of research in the areas of machine learning and gaming AI applications. Salary is competitive.
