The Penn State Office of Annual Giving is seeking a paid student intern for the spring semester. As a member of Penn State’s Office of University Development, this intern will play an integral role in one of the most successful fundraising operations in the country and contribute to future strength of Penn State. The responsibilities of this intern will include: Supporting student philanthropy programs which enhance the culture of philanthropy at Penn State, Assisting teams in the development of their campaigns on Let’s Grow State, the official Penn State crowdfunding platform, and other projects as assigned by Annual Giving staff. The successful candidate will have a strong collaborative work ethic, a passion for Penn State, an ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing, and able to quickly understand and manage projects in a wide variety of topic areas. This position is intended for a student at the University Park campus, and should be able to commit a minimum of 8 hours per week to position responsibilities (no more than 15 hours per week). Normal working hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) apply but additional evening and weekend hours may be necessary. Applicants should have the ability to work in both the Office of Annual Giving’s Bristol Place office and on campus.
