Description

We are seeking a part-time Education Program Associate to assist with program coordination, technical assistance, and related services in the field of education and faculty and professional development. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in program or project management and event planning. The ability to manage multiple projects, excellent communication skills, general computer skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and organization are critical for success. We value candidates who are forward-thinking, open-minded and flexible. Assist in coordinating educational program offerings, including processing all course/program registrations, coordinating schedules and needs for involved faculty/presenters, preparing materials for program offerings, etc. Serve as primary contact for marketing; oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, advertising, etc. for all educational program offerings. Provide routine program logistics/maintain requirements or activities to ensure quality of programs. Solicit and evaluate feedback on the effectiveness of programs and activities. Format documents and text for website and advertisements. Assist in delivering training, programs, courses, etc. Compile and organize information from different sources to develop agendas, meeting materials, and reports. Arrange meetings, coordinate special events, conferences, and other functions. Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of moderately complex projects. Requires a Bachelor`s degree or higher, 2+ years related experience in educational program support/administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hours will typically be Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. We often provide workshops or trainings that begin at 5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. and occasionally events earlier in the day. Flexibility in schedule on as needed basis is needed.
