The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), under the auspices of the Senior Vice President for Business and Finance, seeks to hire a graduate student to work in a part-time capacity on a variety of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. This individual will be responsible for researching, developing, and beginning the implementation of a Finance and Business – ODI internship module. The successful candidate will be charged with collaborating and developing intentional partnerships with various colleges, academic units, college multicultural offices, finance and business units, as well as members of Finance and Business’ executive leadership. The successful candidate must be available for 15-20 hours a week. The successful candidate should have experience researching initiatives, leading initiatives, or possess an intentional and engaged interest in producing work to further the mission and vision of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion within Finance and Business. Additional critical skill sets include excellent written and verbal communications skills. Candidates should submit a resume/curriculum vitae outlining their relevant experience, which could also include coursework which shows evidence of the aforementioned skillsets, as well as a cover letter expressing interest and desire to fulfill the task at hand with a notion of how the internship program could help advance Diversity and Inclusion both across Finance and Business and Penn State.
