The College of Nursing is seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to provide internal and external data analysis and management for collecting and analyzing data related to organizational performance, strategic planning, quality initiatives and the Standardized Program Evaluation Plan (SPEP). These duties may include (but are not limited to) collecting, compiling and analyzing data from various databases and performing statistical analyses for drafting and preparing annual reports such as accreditation surveys and NCLEX reports, as well as other ad hoc reports; distribution of College surveys and collection of data for summarization and interpretation of statistical and trending results for the College’s Systematic Program Evaluation Plan; developing, maintaining and/or enhancing existing databases such as the College’s faculty informational and compliance database and reoccurring reports as needed; meeting with the Dean, Associate Deans, faculty and staff to determine their statistical information and research needs on an ongoing basis; accurately processing many detailed reports in a highly organized and efficient manner; and, providing assistance as requested for other administrative projects. Must have excellent attention to detail as well as interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Penn State’s Data Warehouse and Institutional Insight (iTwo) is preferred.
